Thoroughly wash the Creeping Charlie. Place the plant material in a quart jar. Fill to top with boiling water. Cover jar and steep for one hour. Remove plant material and drink either hot or cold. Optional: Add lemon or lime slices with a sprig of fresh mint. Creeping Charlie leaves steeping in hot water for a cup of mild minty tea.. Boil: Bring water to a boil (either in a kettle or on the stove). Pour into into your serving glasses. Mint: Briefly roll the sprigs of mint between your hands to help release the oils, then add 1 or 2 sprigs to each glass. Let steep for 3 to 5 minutes. Serve: Optionally drizzle in a little honey, stirring to dissolve.

There isn't really a recipe for mint tea, but rather a method. Wash and tear up the fresh mint leaves. (Spearmint, peppermint, chocolate mint; the variety doesn't matter.) Put them in a French press or teapot and pour some boiling water over them. Allow to steep for about 3-7 minutes, depending on how strong you want your tea.. To Make Iced Mint Tea: Boil 4 cups of water. Roll the mint leaves and stems between your palms until it's crushed. Place the mint into a heat-proof glass pitcher or teapot. Pour the boiled water over the crushed mint. Cover the container or put the lid on. Let the tea cool down before putting it in the refrigerator.
